Tuesday Cycle and Hillview Track workout

First the ride to Joe Walker – not windy today – it was a nice ride…9 miles each way…33:25 (16mph) going and 41:00 (13 mph) returning – More uphill on the way back….

The team’s workout was a 1 mile warm up, then 8 x 300 meters on the track. Since their workout would be relatively short for me, I thought maybe I could get away with doing it, and tonights HDR workout. After the 3rd interval I came to my senses and stopped. The kids got in a great workout, however, and by the last couple of intervals they were starting to be able to zone in on the right paces… After the intervals we did a “Rock Routine” set and followed that with a 2 lap cool down and some stretches. I ended up with 3 miles counting running back and forth across the field during the kids intervals.
