Another step forward

I love my Tuesday night workouts….

The last few weeks we have had great weather for it – (but the weather does not stop me…)

We had great attendence once again with 21 runners: Neil, Christian, Miguel, Kegan Marsh (nice surprise), Justin Koo, Micheal, Luke, Sarah, Jen, Aliya, Alexis, Annie, Brenda, Alan, Jesse, Dave, Sidnee,Joe, Kathy, Clay and Myself

Our workout was 4, 3, 2, 4, 3, 2, 1, 1…. When we took off for the first 4 minute interval many of the runners were going VERY quick! I think I was around 1:34 on the first lap and 3:15 for two laps. I finished about 980 meters. On the 3 I had a split of 1:34 and finished about 760 meters. Most of the rest of the workout remained pretty consistent. On both 2 minute interval I finished 500 meters. On both 1 minute intervals I finished 260. The highlight was the 2nd four minute interval where I completed 998 meters!  That adds up to 5018 meters in 20 minutes!  Woo Hoo!
