A run and a workout with Clay

We did an easy 3 + miler after school today. Then I headed over to workout with Clay. He had me do a couple of new things! There was this side to side slide thing that took a bit of getting used to but it was fun. Then he had me try some long ski erg sessions. He had me go for a 1000 meter session and then later a 500 meter one. Both turned out great – completing them in 4:16 and 1:54.8 respectively.

I plan to do 15 on the aqueduct in the morning and then 10 more on Sunday. I will shoot for 7 of Sunday’s miles at 7:30 pace.
