The program I am following calls for an occasional 10 miler in the middle of a week. This is difficult for me to work into my schedule since I have after school XC practice most every day. So, today I did the next best thing. I split the workout in half. I did an easy 5 miler with Chuck and Lance on the aqueduct at 6 am and then I took the kids on the 5.5 mile “Mt Rite Aid” run after school. I was feeling pretty sluggish on the morning run which we completed in precisely 42:30. On the afternoon pace I was feeling a little bit looser and better.
A great way to still work in the mileage. Keep up the good work Dale!
