The wind has died down and the weather warmed up just enough for me to brave a pool run this afternoon. It turned out to be a high resistance pool run. I pulled back the pool cover and looked into the pool and thought to myself, “this one is going to be a high resistance pool run.” The wind storm of the last few days had dumped a lot of leaves into the pool. So I grabbed my leaf rake (a bag shaped net for scooping leaves out of the pool) and started running. I spent my first two “mile equivalents” pushing the leaf bag around the pool scooping up leaves. On number 3 I set it aside and tried to go fast. On 4 and 5 I reversed direction and resumed leaf scooping. #6 was a quick finale.
Felt good!
