I know, today is Friday…. XC season get REALLY busy and there is lots to write about…
Tuesday I did a triathlon of workouts! Not the typical run, swim and bike, but run, bike and Clayve! After Monday’s success at the long hill repeats, I went ahead and ran with the Hillview team at their practice. We ran over to Greg Anderson Elementary to use their (our) track. We did 100 meter sprints and stairs! We ran continuous loops of 100m hard straightaways and easy (walk) curves. On the back straight away, the sprint continued into the curve and up a 2 floor set of stairs. It was fun. I felt strong.
Later, I coached the HDR workout. We had 3 new club member runners!
Next I went to Clay’s house for the Clave workout. I was promoted from a combination of Heavy duty and medium duty, to two medium duty bands for my pull ups!
Finally we went out for a very windy ride up and down the hills of Quartz Hill. I was feeling pretty dead legged by then.
