Today we had a good workout at Hillview. We started with a three mile “warm up.” My knee had a couple of troublesome spots but as a whole it held up pretty good. My pace was right at 8 min/mile. After the warm up we did my Partner Torture workout. This includes a variety of exercises and sprints back and forth across the field. As I said the other day, the knee seems to like sprints and short bursts of stuff better than longer runs.
Later, I headed to Clayve….. It was a fun workout. Clay had me chasing medicine balls down the driveway, throwing them back up the driveway, jumping, push-uping, pull-uping, rope waving, jump roping, etc….. fun!
