Short N Sweet!

The last couple of weeks, my interval workouts have leaned toward the long: 8 x 2 1/2 minutes (medium), 3 x 10, 2 mile-1 mile- 800…. I figured it was time for a sprint workout…… or two.

At Hillview we ran on campus 4 sets of intervals of 90s, 60s, and 30s. 12 total minutes of speedwork with plenty of recovery in between. Since we were on the field, and I did not press any Garmin splits, I have no idea how far I got on my intervals. I can say that I was running right behind a couple of pretty good runners: Adam and Jason.

At the High Desert Runners workout at Joe Walker, I continued a similar workout. We ran 4 sets of 400, 200, 200, 100, 100 with a 100m mostly walk between each interval. Tonight, I was really moving: 85, 39, 39, 19, 18 ……86, 40, 39, 18, 18…. 84, 39, 40, 18, 18, 18….. 85, 39, 40, 19, 19 ….

Afterwards I headed to the Clayve, but Clay let me a take it relatively easy for the evening…..
