I am following an “easy” training plan with the goal of being able to run a half marathon in early January. I am thinking it would be fun to run the LA New Year’s Half again. It is hilly, it is at night, it is in Los Angeles, downtown to Dodger Stadium and back. No goal time… Today was a step back week. Last Saturday was supposed to be 80-90 minutes, today only 50-60. So rather than hit the trail again I decided on a nice flat aqueduct run. The weather was awesome, by the way… 40 something degrees, bright early morning sunshine and glassy water – NO WIND!!
