“Easy” Tuesday Night workout

Since the race Saturday, I have been in recovery mode. I took it easy Sunday, walking 4 miles at the mall. I got in an easy 4 mile run on Monday morning with the Hillview runners. Yesterday, I ran to and from Greg Anderson to coach track practice, but as usual, for Tuesdays lately, I did not run with the team.

The Tuesday night High Desert Runners workout was sparsely attended. It was in the 50 and it was pretty windy. It has been pretty windy since Sunday… I am tired of it already…. but I digress.  Rob Perez, David Weary, Kent Trenkle and I did one of my typical workouts – the 3,2,1,3,2,1,3,2,1 … this adds up to 18 minutes of speed work. I ran it at around a 7 – 7:30 min/mile pace, which was not as hard as I have been pushing lately. The four of us remained pretty close together and I was able to converse somewhat as we ran.
