January was a pretty good month! I ran 3 races including the LA New Year’s 5k and 10k the same night. More importantly I got in a good variety of training:
- 100 Miles of running including long runs of 16 and 18 miles.
- 64 Miles of walking – counting only that that was tracked by GPS.
- 90 Miles on the Elliptigo including a 31 miler and a bunch of commutes.
- 57 Miles on the Ebike – commuting.
I figure that as the equivalent of about 188 miles pure running. I count walking and Elliptigo miles at 50%, Ebike at 20% percent. I am feeling pretty good and am happy with my speed in races and workouts.
This morning I started February with a marathon pace run…. Well the goal was marathon pace, but I kept going too fast. I did 9 miles at about a 7:45 pace with the Runner’s Lane Saturday morning group.
